The Remnant Awakens - The Everlasting Covenant: Unpacking the Ten Words of YAHUAH
The Remnant Awakens
Chapter 1
Intro
Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji
Shalum family. I’m your brother Pierre Lidji and this is the remnant awakens. Today, we're cutting past all the religion, all the denominations, and going straight to the heartbeat—the Covenant that YAHUAH made with Yashar’AL. Look, these Ten Commandments—or honestly, the Ten Words—are so much deeper than rules. They’re like, the marriage vows between the Most High and us, His people. Not temporary, not up for negotiation. Eternal. Spiritual. It's like, the blueprint to actually walk righteously in this crazy world. I mean, it’s wild—so many religious systems, churches, whatever you wanna call ‘em—they either twist, ignore, or just straight up reject these commandments. But these words set apart the remnant—the ones who refuse to play by the world’s rulebook. So let’s do it. Let’s walk through these Ten Words together, but with fresh eyes, with the Ruach Ha’Qadash opening up understanding. And I’ll just say it upfront: if what you think is faith makes you comfortable with doing the exact opposite of these Words, it might be time to step outta religion and back onto the narrow path. That’s where the remnant walks.

The 10 word

Alright, let’s start at the top—the foundation. The first commandment says: “I am YAHUAH your ALUAH. You shall have no other mighty ones before Me.” YAHUAH isn’t just another option on a list of deities, He’s the first and only. It blows my mind, growing up, how we saw all these religions—Trinity here, saints there, altars, little idols, you know, the works. And nowadays, the “gods” got fancy names—fame, money, success, even self-worship. Everybody's bowing to something. But to walk with the remnant? You gotta throw down all those idols and really know who your ALUAH is. Not just believe in “God”—know His Name, His identity.

The second commandment says: No graven images. No bowing down, no statues, no crosses on the dashboard, none of these so-called ‘paintings of Jesus’ from some Renaissance dude in Rome. I’ll just say it—Christianity likes to call these things “symbolic,” but look at the Scriptures—YAHUAH calls it an abomination. The remnant’s gotta worship in spirit and in truth, not in front of stuff made with men’s hands. I mean, the world turns objects into their own mini-gods. That’s spiritual idolatry, not holiness.
Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji
The third commandment says: Don’t bring the Name of YAHUAH to ruin. Most religions replaced His Name with “Lord” or “God.” Like, you ever notice in church, nobody wants to say the real Name? That’s not just some translation thing, that’s profaning His Name, man. My grandma used to say, “Don’t play with that Name.” We’re supposed to guard it, proclaim it, and let people know—His Name is set-apart and powerful. It’s not about shouting loud, it’s about honoring who He is.

The fourth commandment says: Remember the Shabbath day to keep it qodesh—set-apart. And look, the world says Sunday, but if we go back, YAHUAH set apart the seventh day at creation, not because somebody in Rome came up with a new calendar. I know, Daniy’el chapter 7 verse 25 straight up told us religion would “change times and laws”—that’s prophecy right there! So to be the remnant, you gotta come out of the world’s schedule, man. Return to the Shabbath of YAHUAH.
Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji
The Fifth commandment says: Honor your father and mother. In today’s world, it’s almost like popular culture wants you to talk back, rebel, treat parents like enemies. But this commandment is about bringing order, respecting wisdom passed down, and keeping discipline in the family. It’s not about perfection, it’s about restoring that honor in the home. That's the pattern YAHUAH gave—and I know, not every parent is perfect, but the principle stands. But it doesn't mean to blindly obey them into sin and lawlessness, if your parent tells you to do something that goes against Yahuah's torah, His commandments or set apart living instructions, then you have to obey Yahuah your Aluah above everything, and parent don't provoke your children. We are all accountable before Yahuah Aluah.

The sixth commandment says: Don’t murder. That’s more than just, you know, killing someone in the street. YAHUAH goes deeper—it includes hating without cause, killing reputations, spiritual murder with your words or actions—just check 1 Yochanon chapter 3 verse 15. And yet, the world glorifies violence, war, even abortion. The remnant? We walk in love, we value life, we take care of each other as YAHUAH’s creation.
Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji
The seventh commandment says: Don’t commit adultery. See, it’s not just about cheating in marriage—it’s about covenant-breaking with YAHUAH, too. Most religions say, “Oh, you’re under grace, so don’t worry about all that.” But covenant is real. If you claim to follow YAHUAH, you stay faithful in marriage AND to Him. That’s the call for the remnant.
Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji
The eighth commandment says: Don’t steal. That could be anything: money, time, resources, even, I’ll say it, the actual identity and heritage of Yashar’AL. Rome and the nations took a whole people’s birthright, rewrote history, called it something else. But those who walk righteous? We restore what’s been lost and live with real integrity.
Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji
The Ninth commandment says: Don’t bear false witness. That’s not just lying on your neighbor, that’s slander, making up doctrines, misleading others about who YAHUAH really is. Entire systems—Christianity included—got built off lies, off mistranslations. The remnant? We speak bold truth, clear truth, even if it costs us reputation or comfort.
Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji
And finally, the tenth commandment says: Don’t covet. Don’t desire what’s your neighbor’s—life, possessions, their calling. But the world, especially social media, teaches us to compare, compete, chase stuff that isn’t ours. The remnant practice gratitude, contentment, and stay focused on their purpose. Real talk, if you’re busy looking at your brother’s plate, you won’t see what YAHUAH put on yours. These are the Ten Words, family. This is what sets us apart.
Chapter 3
Closing

Now, someone’s probably thinking, “Pierre, isn’t this stuff outdated? Isn’t it just Old Covenant?” Nope—these Ten Words or commandments are the eternal standard. They mark out who the remnant actually are. These 10 words show the world: these are my people, set apart, not mixed up. It’s like, they’re not just some guidelines—they separate us from lawlessness, from religion, from all that watered-down stuff most people follow today. And, I’m pretty sure we covered some of this vibe way back in an Episode —you remember when we talked about sin and how the world tries to bend or delete the commandments? This is a direct answer! Revelation chapter 14 verse 12 says, “Here is the patience of the qadashiym: here are they that guard the commandments of YAHUAH, and the belief of YAHUSHA.” That’s the remnant. That’s what we’re aiming for. Leave religion, leave smooth words, and return to the pure Covenant. Family, that’s where the set-apart walk is. Until next time, keep guarding those commandments, bless and hold fast to the name Yahuah and Yahusha, and let your faith be your testimony.
