The Remnant Awakens - What Is Faith — And How Do You Grow It?

The remnant awakens

Chapter 1

Intro

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Shalom, family. This is the remnant awakens and I’m your brother Pierre. I’m glad you’re tuning in, whether you’re driving, walking, or just chillin’ at home. Today, we’re gonna talk about something that, honestly, I think gets misunderstood a lot—faith. What is it, what it isn’t, and how do you actually grow it? I mean, we hear about faith all the time, right? But if you’re like me, you’ve probably wondered, “Am I even doing this faith thing right?” So, let’s get into it.

Chapter 2

WHAT FAITH IS NOT

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Okay, before we even try to define faith, let’s clear up what it’s not. I feel like, especially in the world today, people think faith is just, like, positive thinking or wishful hoping. You know, “If I just believe hard enough, I’ll get that job, or that car, or that healing.” But, nah, that’s not it. That’s not biblical faith. And, honestly, that’s kinda what we talked about in the episode where we exposed the prosperity gospel—faith isn’t about twisting Yahuah’s arm to get what you want. It’s not magic, it’s not manifesting, and it’s definitely not just a feeling you get when the music is good at church. Faith isn’t blind, either. It’s not ignoring reality or pretending problems don’t exist. I mean, I used to think, “If I just ignore my struggles, maybe that’s faith.” But, nah, that’s just denial. Faith is something deeper, something real.

Chapter 3

WHAT IS FAITH ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE?

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

So, what is faith then? Let’s go straight to the source—Hebrews chapter 11 verse 1. It says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” I always trip over that word, “substance.” Like, faith isn’t just an idea, it’s got weight, it’s got substance. It’s the proof, the evidence, of what you can’t see yet. It’s like, you know when you order something online, and you get that confirmation email? You haven’t seen the package, but you know it’s coming. That’s a terrible analogy, but you get what I mean. Faith is trusting Yahuah’s word, even when you can’t see the outcome. It’s not just believing He exists, but actually trusting what He says, even when it doesn’t make sense. And, honestly, sometimes it really doesn’t make sense. But that’s the point.

Chapter 4

FAITH IN ACTION: LESSONS FROM THE RIGHTEOUS

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Let’s look at some real-life examples from the Word, because, you know, faith isn’t just a theory. Think about Avraham—he left everything he knew because Yahuah told him to go. He didn’t even know where he was going! That’s wild. Or Mosheh—Moses—he stood in front of Pharaoh, the most powerful man in the world, with nothing but a staff and a word from Yahuah. That’s faith in action. And then there’s Hananyah, Misha’el, and Azaryah—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—who stood up to the king and said, “Even if Yahuah doesn’t save us, we’re not bowing.” That’s real faith. It’s not about the outcome, it’s about obedience and trust. And, you know, sometimes faith looks like waiting. Like Noah, building that ark for years while everyone laughed at him. Faith is active, it’s obedient, and sometimes it’s just holding on when everything looks crazy.

Chapter 5

HOW TO GROW YOUR FAITH

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

So, you’re probably thinking, “Alright, Pierre, but how do I actually grow my faith?” I mean, I’ve asked that question so many times. First, faith comes by hearing—by hearing the Word of Yahuah. That means you gotta spend time in Scripture, not just reading, but really listening. And, honestly, sometimes I struggle with that. Life gets busy, distractions everywhere, but if you wanna grow, you gotta make time. Second, faith grows when you obey, even in small things. Like, when Yahuah puts something on your heart, and you actually do it, your faith gets stronger. It’s like working out—start small, but be consistent. And, don’t be afraid to ask Yahuah to help your unbelief. Even the disciples said, “Increase our faith!” It’s okay to admit you need help. And, surround yourself with people who are walking in faith. Community matters. We talked about that in the episode on spiritual warfare—don’t try to do this alone.

Chapter 6

FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT: HOLDING FAITH IN THE LAST DAYS

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Now, I wanna leave you with this—Luke chapter 18 verse 8. Yahusha asks, “When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” That question hits me every time. Like, will He find people who are still holding on, still trusting, even when the world is falling apart? We’re living in wild times, family. There’s deception everywhere, like we talked about in the episode on church traditions and the narrow way. But faith is what’s gonna keep us. Not feelings, not hype, not what’s popular. Real, raw, sometimes messy faith. The kind that says, “Even if I don’t see it, I trust You, Yahuah.” That’s what the remnant is about. That’s what we’re called to.

Chapter 7
