The Remnant Awakens - The Shabbat: The Eternal Sign They Tried to Erase

The remnant awakens

Chapter 1

Intro

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Shalom, family. Welcome back to The Remnant Awakens. I’m your brother Pierre Lidji, and, I’m grateful you’re tuning in again. If you’ve been following the last few episodes, you know we don’t shy away from the hard stuff. We dig deep, we challenge tradition, and we try to get back to the roots—the real roots. Today, we’re talking about something that’s been on my heart for a long time. It’s one of those things that, honestly, most people just overlook or, I dunno, they just accept what they’ve been told. But we’re not doing that here. We’re talking about the Shabbat—the Sabbath. The eternal sign they tried to erase. So, let’s get into it.

Chapter 2

WHAT IS THE SHABBAT?

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Alright, so, what is the Shabbat? Let’s go back to the beginning. I mean, literally, the beginning—Genesis. You know, after Yahuah created the heavens and the earth, He rested on the seventh day. Not because He was tired, but to set an example, to set apart that day. It’s like, He blessed it, made it holy. And, I always think about this—if the Most High Himself set aside a day, who are we to say it doesn’t matter anymore? I mean, that’s wild, right? The Shabbat isn’t just a Jewish thing, or, you know, some old law. It’s a creation thing. It’s for all mankind. It’s a gift, a sign, a rhythm. And, honestly, it’s something the world has tried to bury, but it’s still there, waiting for us to rediscover it.

Chapter 3

WHY IS SHABBAT IMPORTANT?

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

So, why is Shabbat important? I mean, why does it even matter? Let’s look at Exodus chapter 31 verse 13. Yahuah says, “My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am Yahuah who sanctifies you.” Did you catch that? It’s a sign. Not just a suggestion, not just a tradition. It’s a sign between the Creator and His people. It’s like a wedding ring, you know? It marks the covenant. And, as we talked about in previous episodes, the covenant is everything. Without it, we’re just playing religion. The Shabbat is how we show we belong to Him, that we’re set apart. And, honestly, it’s one of the main things that separates the remnant from the world. It’s not about legalism—it’s about relationship, about identity, about obedience. And, yeah, it’s unpopular. But the narrow way always is.

Chapter 4

HOW TO OBSERVE SHABBAT

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Now, let’s talk about how to actually observe Shabbat. I get this question a lot—like, “Pierre, what do I do? What do I not do?” And, look, I’m not here to give you a list of rules like some kind of Pharisee. But Scripture does give us some clear instructions. First, it’s the seventh day—so, from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. That’s the biblical day, not Sunday. We rest from our work, we set aside our own business, and we focus on Yahuah. It’s a day for worship, for family, for reflection. No buying, no selling, no business as usual. It’s about delighting in the day, not just avoiding stuff. And, honestly, it’s a blessing. It’s not supposed to be a burden. I mean, sometimes I mess up, sometimes I forget, but the point is to honor the day, to remember the covenant. And, as we talked about in the Torah episode, it’s about the heart, not just the letter.

Chapter 5

WHO CHANGED THE SHABBAT?

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Here’s where it gets real. Who changed the Shabbat? Because, let’s be honest, most of the world keeps Sunday, not the seventh day. So, what happened? Well, if you look at history, it wasn’t Yahuah who changed it. It wasn’t Yahusha. It was men—religious leaders, emperors, councils. The Roman church, Constantine, all that. They shifted the day to Sunday to separate from the Yahudiym, to blend in with pagan customs. And, over time, people just accepted it. But, as we’ve seen in previous episodes, tradition doesn’t override Scripture. The enemy wants to erase the sign, to break the covenant, to make us forget who we are. But the remnant remembers. We come out of Babylon, we return to the ancient paths. And, yeah, it’s uncomfortable. People might call you legalistic or weird. But, honestly, I’d rather be set apart than lost in the crowd.

Chapter 6

SHABBAT IN THE KINGDOM TO COME

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Now, this might surprise you—but we will keep the Shabbat in the kingdom to come. I know, some folks say, “Oh, that’s Old Testament, that’s done away with.” But if you read the prophets, like Isaiah 66, it says that from one Shabbat to another, all flesh will come to worship before Yahuah. That’s future, that’s the new earth. So, if we’re gonna keep it in the kingdom, why not start now? Why wait? The Shabbat is eternal—it’s not just for a season. It’s part of the restoration, part of the gathering of the remnant. And, honestly, it’s a taste of what’s coming. A day of peace, of rest, of being in the presence of the Most High. I mean, who wouldn’t want that?

Chapter 7

FINAL WAKE-UP CALL

Pierre Alexandre Nissi Lidji

Family—this is not a small matter. I know it’s easy to brush it off, to say, “Well, it’s just a day.” But it’s not just a day. It’s the sign. It’s the mark of the covenant. And, as we talked about before, the enemy is working overtime to erase our identity, to make us forget who we are. But the Shabbat is a weekly reminder. It’s a protest against Babylon, against the system. It’s a declaration that we belong to Yahuah, not to this world. So, I’m urging you—don’t take this lightly. Study it for yourself. Pray about it. Ask Yahuah to show you the truth. And, if you’ve been keeping Sunday, or just ignoring the Shabbat, it’s not too late. The door is still open. The remnant is waking up. Will you be part of it?
